PITCH, now in it’s 38th year, is the Bellingham Yacht Club’s largest annual regatta. It’s also done entirely by volunteers from the Club, which is where YOU come in! If you’d like to help out in putting on this event, the PITCH Committee is always looking for extra hands. Just send email to the PITCH Committee Chairperson to let them know when you’re available, and where you’d like to help.
Just some of the jobs we typically need to fill are:
- Race Committee Crew
- Mark boat Crew (Watch the races up close!)
- Race packet stuffing
- Boat docking and on-the-water meet and greet
- Registration help on Friday evening and Saturday morning
- T-shirt and raffle ticket sales
- Dinner ticket sales
- Daily clean-up crew
Click on either of the following links to volunteer. You will be redirected to our CERVIS volunteer software. For help setting up your initial password click here. If you are a new BYC member after early spring of this year, your email wasn’t included with the initial import so you will have to create a new account. It is pretty straight forward if you be sure to read the screens and follow their instructions.
Gone Labor Day weekend? Volunteer your slip!
As always, we are looking for empty slips Labor Day weekend, to accommodate the out-of-area boats coming to PITCH. If you’re going to be gone and are willing to let us use your slip, please email the PITCH Committee Chairperson with your slip number. Thank you!
